Job Description:
|
Well established East Setauket multi-specialty ophthalmology practice seeks experienced ophthalmic technician to join our busy office. Corporation offers pleasant work environment, health insurance, 401k, and PTO. Compensation commensurate with experience.
Applicant must be familiar with the following:
- Fluorescein angiography
- ICG angiography
- OCT
- Anterior segment photography techniques (i.e. gonioscopy, specular microscopy)
- Posterior segment photography techniques
- Be able to take and pass the certification test (CRA) within 12-18 months of employment.

Job Requirements:
High school diploma or equivalent, certification or certification eligibility (COA, COT, CRA), good communication skills with patients and colleagues, good chart documentation skills, team-oriented personality.
