Large comprehensive ophthalmic practice located in beautiful Sonoma County California is seeking COA/COT's for full time positions.  We are searching for individuals that exemplifiy our desire for outstanding patient care, commitment to learning, integrity and initiative to join our dynamic group of physicians and employees.

 Obtain accurate medical/ophthalmic history, visual field, manual refractometry, tonometry, keratometry, contact lens fitting/training and assist with in office procedures.  Pre-op work up, patient education and experience as a scribe is also helpful.

Strong oral and written communication skills are required.  Able to communicate with patients, coworkers and physicians.  Computer skills in medical software management are helpful.

Knowledge of medical and ophthalmic terminology as well as anatomy and physiology of the visual systems.

Accurately perform testing for general ophthalmic exam, cataract, glaucoma, cornea and lasik procedures.

Must be motivated and able to self direct work flow or work as a team when required.

Ability and commitment to continuing education.

Travel to all of our offices is required of all employees, a reliable form of transportation is a must.
